I was born and raised in Michigan and attended Michigan State University (Go Green!). I have a B.S. in Chemistry with a math teaching minor as well as my MAED. I consider myself a lifelong learner and have continued to pursue professional development and graduate credits beyond by Master's, much of which has been focused on teaching with technology. In teaching, I strive to spark a passion for learning in my students. I want my students to question the world around them and desire to learn more.

I have a daughter (Violet) and a Golden Retriever (Leo). In my free time, I like to play with them, snowboard, exercise, do craft projects, camp, travel, or go to car meets.
