​I taught the majority of this course using simulations like the H&R Block Budget Challenge. Many students expressed that they like the course because it was so relevant to their everyday lives. As juniors and seniors trying to find ways to pay for college and make it on their own, money was certainly something that was on their mind. Because of that, I allowed them to pick a topic they wanted to learn more about for their final research project. Two examples of student projects are linked below.
